Agthia Group PJSC reported strong first-quarter 2026 results, driven by disciplined execution, portfolio diversification, and ongoing transformation initiatives across the business. “Our first-quarter performance reflects disciplined execution across the business, the strength of our diversified portfolio, and the commitment of our teams across the Group,” said Salmeen Alameri, Managing Director and CEO of Agthia Group, as the company posted higher revenue, EBITDA, and net profit despite a challenging regional operating environment.

The UAE-based food and beverage company recorded Group net revenue of AED 1.3 billion during Q1 2026, marking a 3.3 per cent year-on-year increase. EBITDA rose 4.1 per cent to AED 193.3 million, while net profit climbed 12.5 per cent to AED 96.9 million, supported by improved operating efficiencies and stronger margin delivery across key business segments.

According to the company, the quarter’s performance was shaped by strong execution in core businesses, continued progress across transformation projects, and the Group’s ability to maintain uninterrupted operations amid external headwinds.

Alameri noted that Agthia responded to the complex regional environment with agility while maintaining operational continuity and focus across its markets. He added that the Group’s transformation initiatives are increasingly translating into stronger operational efficiency, margin improvement, and a more resilient earnings profile.

Chairman Khalifa Sultan Al Suwaidi said the quarter reinforced the importance of resilience, discipline, and long-term strategic focus in navigating evolving market conditions. He also highlighted Agthia’s continued role in supporting broader regional food security priorities.

During the quarter, the Water & Food segment remained a major growth driver, supported by strong performance in UAE bottled water and Home and Office Services. The Protein & Frozen business also recorded encouraging progress as transformation initiatives continued and the Group accelerated the expansion of its Saudi protein facility, with Phase II now operational and adding production capacity.

Agri-Business contributed resilient underlying performance while supporting UAE food security-related programmes. Meanwhile, the Snacking segment continued its restructuring and optimisation efforts aimed at strengthening long-term growth and margin potential.

Agthia also reported strong momentum in digital channels, with e-commerce revenue increasing 22.5 per cent year-on-year and contributing 7.2 per cent of underlying revenue during the quarter.

The company said it remains focused on long-term growth priorities, operational efficiency, and strengthening its position as one of the region’s leading food and beverage players.
