The company has developed a range of high-performance enzymes primarily for winemaking, juice & vegetable processing, and plant-based foods
Lallemand Bio-Ingredients announced the acquisition of Solyve, a subsidiary of the InVivo group.
Solyve is a leading producer of classical enzymes through solid-state fermentation at its modern facility in Normandy, France. Founded in 1989 as Lyven S.A., the company has developed a range of high-performance enzymes primarily for winemaking, juice & vegetable processing, and plant-based foods.
“Solyve brings a complementary set of capabilities and products to Lallemand Bio-Ingredients’ rapidly expanding enzyme business,” said Lars Asferg, President & General Manager of Lallemand Bio-Ingredients. “Solyve’s expertise in enzyme solutions will enhance our ability to support customers seeking high-performance enzymes across a wide range of food and beverage applications, and will strengthen our drive to bring enzyme innovation to market based on Lallemand’s unique technology platform.”
