Too Good To Go Platform is modular and comprises five modules that partners can customise to shape their surplus food management strategy
Too Good To Go, a social impact company that operates the world’s biggest marketplace for surplus food, has launched the Too Good To Go Platform. This end-to-end surplus food management solution, powered by AI, allows grocery retailers of all sizes to find value in excess inventory. What sets it apart is its integration with the world’s largest consumer marketplace for surplus food, which has over 85 million registered users.
Too Good To Go Platform is modular and comprises five modules that partners can customise to shape their surplus food management strategy. These modules include expiry date management, recommendations, intelligent discounting, marketplace, and donations.
The platform’s algorithms can provide a list of near-expiry products on handheld devices used by store staff. The list is organized based on shelf location and can be displayed daily or weekly, depending on the product’s shelf life. The system also suggests how to handle each product based on pre-established and customisable rules and preferences determined by the retailer.
