The Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand, has introduced a project called “Think RICE, Think THAILAND” to encourage the international community to pay attention to consumer health and to raise awareness on the national crop by providing a wider range of knowledge about Thai rice. Today, by using modern technologies and cutting-edge innovations, Thai rice has been developed and progressed to meet the ever-changing demand of global consumers.

The Ministry of Commerce discussed that organic cosmetics made from Thai rice is a suitable alternative because they are free of any allergens. With its natural ingredients, they are completely safe to use and do not clog pores.
Pressed powder made from rice starch is perfectly suitable for oily and sensitive skin. Proteins and other components have been removed from the starch, which is a talcum powder replacement. It’s also fragrance- and paraben-free.
In addition to adding beautiful touches of colours, lipsticks made from rice bran oil also nourish lips. The colour pigments are extracted from organic fruits and vegetables, so there are no contaminants. These lipsticks also naturally minimize wrinkles and brighten lips, as well as protect them from the sun.
