SPYRT Worldwide, visionary leader in importing top wines and vodkas from the Ukraine into the United States, announced an expansion into new markets through distribution partnerships on the East Coast, Well Crafted Wine & Beverage Co. will now distribute SHABO wines in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC, and Stefano Selections will now distribute Hetman and Ukrainian Spirit Vodkas in Maryland and Washington, DC. We chose the DMV area as the first location to launch the brands in a strategic partnership with these two distributors. SHABO Winery, located in the southern Ukrainian village of Shabo, near the western edge of the Black Sea, was established in in 1882 by Swiss winemaking settlers and purchased 2003 by Vaja Iukuridze, in an area where the tradition of winemaking dates back over 2,000 years, with the dream of creating high-quality wines with a sense of place and purpose. Over the past twenty years, SHABO has won more than six hundred prestigious international awards and is now run by Vaja’s son Giorgi.
