China’s first intelligent oyster mushroom production plant opens

The production line boasts an annual capacity of 7 million mushroom sticks, with daily yields of about 8 tonnes of fresh mushrooms

Xinjiang Turfan Jiumulin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., China’s first intelligent oyster mushroom production enterprise, has officially launched its new automated production line. This state-of-the-art system enables the entire cultivation process—from stick production, mixing, bagging, and sterilisation to inoculation, cultivation, harvesting, and packaging—to be fully automated. Freshly harvested oyster mushrooms are now being processed and packed in the facility.

To support the project, the State Grid Turfan Power Supply Company assisted in the early planning stages, installing a 2850 kVA transformer to meet the enterprise’s energy needs. They also provided technical support to ensure the smooth operation of critical systems like the automatic humidification equipment.

The production line boasts an annual capacity of 7 million mushroom sticks, with daily yields of about 8 tonnes of fresh mushrooms. The company promotes a sustainable, cooperative model by engaging local farmers in mushroom cultivation and utilising by-products like mushroom rice for livestock feed. This initiative not only enhances agricultural innovation but also boosts the local economy, with an estimated annual output value of 150 million yuan.
