This new structure aims to streamline the business further, enhance focus on end-use markets, and provide greater insight into Glanbia’s value drivers and growth opportunities
Glanbia Group has announced its plan to create a new operating model by dividing its GN business into two segments: Health & Nutrition and Dairy Nutrition. The Health & Nutrition segment will primarily include the premix solutions and flavour platforms, while the Dairy Nutrition segment will focus on cheese and dairy ingredients. This segment will encompass the portfolios of protein solutions (currently in NS) and US Cheese, and will also serve as the commercial partner for the Group’s joint venture, MWC-Southwest Holdings LLC.
This new structure aims to streamline the business further, enhance focus on end-use markets, and provide greater insight into Glanbia’s value drivers and growth opportunities. The Group anticipates that the new operating model will be implemented during fiscal year 2025, with more details expected to be released in early 2025.
To fully leverage this operational change, Glanbia is initiating a company-wide transformation program designed to fund and facilitate its next phase of growth. This program will concentrate on identifying opportunities to improve productivity, drive efficiencies across operations, accelerate digital transformation, and ensure the Group is well-positioned to take advantage of future market growth opportunities.
