Samantha is an experienced leader and most recently was a Senior Consultant for Wine Network Consulting, specialising in viticulture and wine business advice

The Board of Vinehealth Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Samantha Scarratt as Chief Executive Officer.

Samantha is an experienced leader and most recently was a Senior Consultant for Wine Network Consulting, specialising in viticulture and wine business advice.

Previously, Samantha was Director of Grape Supply for Accolade Wines, leading a large team to deliver grapes to winery networks across Australia and New Zealand.

Samantha has significant experience across a variety of roles in viticulture in Australia and New Zealand and has sat on Research Advisory Committees for more than 12 years, advising on the direction of wine research in Australia and New Zealand. Samantha is also a Director of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (ASVO) and the Australian Wine Industry Technical Committee (AWITC).

Working with the Vinehealth Australia Board and team, Samantha is looking forward to partnering with growers, winemakers, suppliers and industry stakeholders to empower them with tools, information, and expertise to safeguard vineyards from pests, particularly phylloxera.
