FarMart introduces Saudabook platform for food sector in India

The platform will strengthen the linkages between India’s food manufacturing industry and farming communities

FarMart, the leading intelligent food supply network in India, has launched Saudabook, a technology platform aimed at modernising the country’s food sector. FarMart’s own ERP, FarMartOS, is being made available to all food processors and manufacturers in India.

Saudabook is tailored to the food processing and manufacturing industry, which has faced persistent challenges, including limited automation, complex supply chains, and distribution issues. Despite being a significant contributor to a $500 billion market, the industry has been slow to adopt technology and automation.

FarMart aims to change this by offering an easy-to-use platform that facilitates the digitisation of the entire workflow for food processors. This will allow businesses to achieve better quality and delivery controls, keeping up with the rapidly changing industry demands. The platform will also strengthen the linkages between India’s food manufacturing industry and farming communities.

FarMart has a network of 3.2 million farmers, 250,000 village-level aggregators, and over 2,000 processors and large food businesses that purchase from the platform.
