Yili Wins 21st IUFoST Global Food Industry Award

The 21st World Congress of Food Science and Technology was held this year in Singapore from October 31 to November 3. Yili Group was presented with the IUFoST Global Food Industry Award.

Organized by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST), the 21st Congress attracted over 1,500 attendees, representing respective food industries from over 70 countries and regions. Yili’s Satine Pro UF Milk stood out for its pioneering innovation and creative design among other finalists. In recognition of its forward-looking design, this product was selected by the jury as the winner of the Package Innovation Category.

Commenting on Yili Group’s role as a food innovator, the awarding jury said “We are deeply impressed by Yili’s continuous efforts in R&D, its dedication to health through innovation, as well as its leading manufacturing standards. In response to consumer demands for nutritious and healthy food, Yili has invested heavily in this field. In doing so, Yili has conveyed the Group’s sustainable corporate value through its series of healthy products.”

Yili’s Satine Pro UF Milk has elevated the standard for high-end pure milk products through advancements on multiple fronts including ultra-filtering technology, taste, and packaging. By applying ultra-filtering technology, the product manages to maintain the high protein and calcium levels in raw milk and remove excessive lactose and sodium, helping consumers to limit their daily intake of unwanted ingredients. Yili’s advanced instantaneous sterilization technology helps to preserve milk flavors. Its innovative PET package features Picasso’s cubist design style, both stylish and easy to carry.
