F&N Foods opens new facility in Singapore

F&N Foods celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of its new purpose-built integrated facility at Singapore. It was witnessed by Chairman of Singapore Economic Development Board, Dr Beh Swan Gin, and Board member of Thai Beverage Public Company Mr Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, and Assistant CEO of JTC corporate, Mr Alvin Tan. F&N Foods is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraser and Neave Limited which is an associate company of Thai Beverage Public Company.


The facility will cost more than $80 million and is planned to be completed in the late half of 2021. This new 375,000 sqft facility in Tuas, will expand F&N Singapore capabilities in all aspects from production to warehousing and research and development and will enable F&N to consolidate its Singapore non-alcoholic beverage operations under one roof, thereby achieving operational synergies and economies of scale. The new facility is also set to be future-ready with automated storage and retrieval system and will boast a vertical integration system and connectivity within the supply chain ultimately enhancing production and efficiency.

Dr Beh Swan Gin, Chairman of Singapore Economic Development Board remarked, “We are particularly delighted that through F&N Thai Beverage is growing and has operating based in Singapore. It is an Asian family business that is building on its traditional strength in markets of Indochina and looking to expand in South East Asia and beyond. This new facility will enhance F&N ‘s capabilities to innovate and contribute to the vibrancy of Singapore as Food innovation hub”
