It aims to further strengthen its capabilities and customer co-development approach in Southeast Asia.

AAK has opened a new customer innovation centre in Singapore as it aims to further strengthen its capabilities and customer co-development approach in Southeast Asia.

The facility is located at Biopolis, an integrated research and development complex that houses research laboratories of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as public sector research institutes.

According to Torben Friis Lange, president of AAK’s Asian unit, this state-of-the-art centre will be focused on applications within chocolate and confectionery fats, bakery, ice cream and dairy, and special nutrition.
