The acquisition of Swedish Oat Fiber, which manufactures oat-based extracts and ingredients, is expected to further strengthen Naturex’s presence in the nutrition segment
Plant-based natural ingredients producer Naturex has acquired 100% stake in Swedish Oat Fiber. Both the companies have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
The acquisition of Swedish Oat Fiber, which manufactures oat-based extracts and ingredients, is expected to further strengthen Naturex’s presence in the nutrition segment.
Olivier Rigaud, Naturex chief executive officer and director said: “This acquisition will support our development and diversification strategy into very promising market segments such as dietary fibres with strong health claims, and speciality plant-based proteins, in line with new consumer trends.”

Swedish Oat Fiber has been engaged in the production of oat beta-glucans dietary fibres, oat oils and oat proteins addressing food industry, nutraceutical, cosmetic and animal feed applications.
