DuPont Nutrition & Health’s Angela Naef has been appointed Chair of AmCham Denmark, following the departure of Ron Park, Roche, who has taken up a position in the U.S.
Dr. Angela Naef is the Vice President of Global Technology & Innovation at DuPont Nutrition & Health with over 17 years of experience in product and business development, with the last 12 years in technical and commercial leadership roles. She has lived in Denmark since 2014, where she joined DuPont in Brabrand near Aarhus as a Site Manager and relocated to Copenhagen in 2016. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry.
Angela Naef says; “AmCham has a strong history of policy work and creating opportunities to engage with international companies in Denmark and political decision makers. It is therefore with great humility that I take on this position to strengthen AmCham as the voice for international business in Denmark in order to create a competitive and sustainable business climate for U.S. and international companies. I look forward to working with my many AmCham colleagues to ensure the organization’s ongoing success”.
As a representative for the international food ingredient company DuPont Nutrition & Health, Naef seeks to continue to highlight the parameters, which makes Denmark an attractive investment opportunity: “The Danish work force is well-educated and highly-qualified and it encompasses the ability to create innovation, which is why DuPont has invested heavily in research, talent development and production facilities. The Danish university environment is ideal for forming strategic partnerships and it is framework conditions like these that keep DuPont invested in Denmark. There is a great potential for AmCham to continuously highlight the fact that international companies and their investments generate growth and jobs,” she says.
Angela Naef was appointed Chair on June 1, 2017. She has served on AmCham’s Board of Directors since early 2016.
