Mérieux NutriSciences have completed their acquisition of Bangalore Testing Laboratories Pvt Ltd., which is an independent testing laboratory located in Bangalore, Southern India. With this acquisition we are significantly strengthening our geographical presence and expanding our service offering in India.

Mérieux NutriSciences have completed their acquisition of Bangalore Testing Laboratories Pvt Ltd., which is an independent testing laboratory located in Bangalore, Southern India. With this acquisition we are significantly strengthening our geographical presence and expanding our service offering in India.

Founded in 1987 by Verghese Chacko and employing 130 people, Bangalore Testing Laboratories offers a complete spectrum of analytical services to various industries. The company operates a fully accredited laboratory in Bangalore covering a surface area of 20,000 sq ft.

Over the coming months, Bangalore Testing Laboratories will be transitioned into our laboratories network. With this acquisition, Mérieux NutriSciences now operates 3 accredited laboratories in India, strengthening our position of major network of private analytical laboratories in the country.

Verghese Chacko will remain the CEO of the Bangalore Testing Laboratories and all teams will report to him. Verghese will report from now on to Vidhya Gangar, Managing Director India. We welcome Mr. Chacko and all teams from Bangalore, all as now part of Mérieux NutriSciences.
