In a joint statement with the Ministry of Health (MOH), the SFA said that Nosh Cuisine had implemented the measures required by the agency

Nosh Cuisine, a food caterer in Singapore, has been allowed to resume operations after the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) lifted its suspension. The suspension was imposed due to cases of food poisoning at three MindChamps pre-schools in May.

In a joint statement with the Ministry of Health (MOH), the SFA said that Nosh Cuisine had implemented the measures required by the agency, which included disposing of all perishable food items, cleaning and sanitising its premises, and re-training its food handlers and food hygiene officers.

Nosh Cuisine also replaced its chiller and installed additional handwash stations. The SFA will continue to monitor the caterer closely to ensure adherence to food safety requirements. The agency is also investigating the outbreak in May and will take enforcement action if Nosh Cuisine is found to have violated regulations. Offenders may face a fine of up to $2,000 and additional fines for each day the offence continues after conviction.
