TAGAT Foodtech has announced its official market launch, unveiling a comprehensive digital ecosystem designed to serve the entire animal protein supply chain—from farm to processing. The new brand marks the first phase of the merger between EDATA and SAG, following their strategic union announced on 12 June 2025, and signals the formal start of the company’s integration journey.

Positioned as a one-stop technology partner, TAGAT Foodtech moves beyond the traditional software model to centralise production management, data integration and operational intelligence for animal protein producers. The platform connects processes across the value chain while embedding advanced technology layers such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve efficiency, traceability and regulatory compliance.

The company’s launch is underpinned by a strategy of continuous expansion and innovation. TAGAT Foodtech recently strengthened its customer base through the acquisition of AVECOM and established a dedicated Research & Innovation Business Unit to function as an R&D hub. The unit is tasked with anticipating sector needs, accelerating product development and continuously evolving the TAGAT ecosystem in line with market demands.

TAGAT Foodtech brings together two long-established industry legacies. The company combines the agribusiness expertise of SAG, with 26 years of experience, founded by Sidiney Tartari—now Chief Commercial Officer of TAGAT Foodtech—with EDATA’s 35-year track record in global industrial software and digital solutions.

“We moved from being providers of isolated systems to delivering an integrated ecosystem,” said Edgard Trevisan, founder of EDATA and CEO of TAGAT Foodtech. “TAGAT Foodtech offers the breadth needed to simplify customer operations, ensuring data governance, full traceability and access to innovation through a single, unified solution.”

The modular ecosystem is designed to support multiple protein segments, including poultry, swine, beef cattle and aquaculture, allowing customers to scale and expand capabilities according to their operational needs.

With its integrated platform and innovation-led strategy, TAGAT Foodtech aims to position itself as a central digital enabler for efficiency, transparency and sustainable growth across the global animal protein industry.
