Detmold Group to open new Adelaide headquarters by 2026

The development is a strategic investment in the company’s future and a step forward in supporting its global ambitions

Leading Australian-owned packaging company Detmold Group is set to build a new global headquarters in Adelaide to strengthen innovation, collaboration, and its continued local and international growth. Rooted in strong family values, the development reflects the company’s commitment to a sustainable future.

The new 5,100-square-metre, three-level building at 260 Regency Road, Regency Park, will bring together up to 240 employees currently spread across eight sites in Brompton, Hindmarsh, and Regency Park, uniting them under one roof by the end of 2026.

Adelaide-based construction company Centina and award-winning Studio Nine Architects have been selected to lead the construction and design of the facility. The headquarters will feature open-plan offices, formal and informal meeting areas, breakout zones, an on-site café, parking, end-of-trip amenities, and a green terrace for year-round outdoor use.

Incorporating sustainable design elements, the building will maximise natural light and ventilation, provide shaded areas for energy efficiency and comfort, and include systems for rainwater harvesting and reuse.

The new headquarters will house teams from the Detmold Group’s corporate division as well as its sales companies Detpak, PaperPak, Detmold Medical, and Cup & Carry, co-located next to the Group’s existing manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

Detmold Group CEO Sascha Detmold Cox described the development as a strategic investment in the company’s future and a step forward in supporting its global ambitions.
