Drumshanbo Tawny Port Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey is a 7-year-old Irish Whiskey

The Shed Distillery, known for creating exceptional, award-winning spirits, has revealed its latest release, Drumshanbo Tawny Port Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey. The special and rare limited-release is now available at select retailers nationwide for $79.99 for a 700mL.

Drumshanbo Tawny Port Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey is a 7-year-old Irish Whiskey that has been triple distilled with the finest malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley, and Irish Barra oats. It is then carefully matured in Tawny Port casks, enhancing its rich and complex character. 

At 43 per cent ABV / 86 Proof, the Tawny Port Cask release has a warm aroma of almonds and walnuts with deeper undernotes of red fruits and toffee. On the palate, ripe summer cherries, apricots, and crème brûlée swirl with subtle pot spice. The delectable Tawny Port flows deliciously in the background from the very first sip. Lingering pot spices descend with the subtle sweetness of nougat and candied fruits, balanced by a creamy velvet mouthfeel.
