KSrelief distributes 500 food baskets in Somalia

The project is part of the emergency intervention initiative presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday distributed 500 food baskets in the Federal Republic of Somalia, benefiting 3,000 individuals, as part of the Life-Saving Interventions Project in Food Security in Somalia.
The project is part of the emergency intervention initiative presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the centre, to support food security in countries in need.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre continues to provide medical services and food packages to countries in need.

In Somalia, KSrelief implemented the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it. Medical teams examined 1,340 patients, performed 180 surgeries, and distributed medical glasses.

In Lebanon, the ambulance service of the association Subul Al-Salam, funded and supervised by KSrelef, continues to provide its services in the district of Miniyeh and northern Lebanon. The ambulance service carried a total of 63 missions last week.

In Khartoum, Sudan, KSrelief distributed 800 cartons of dates for displaced people.
