Nestlé will invest UAH 700 million ($26.5 million) to modernise and upgrade its production facility in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The Kharkiv facility produces prepared foods such as mashed potato and noodle-based soups for Nestlé’s Mivina brand.
Products produced at the facility are either sold in the Ukrainian market or exported to 17 other European countries.
Nestlé estimates that the upgrade of the facility will be completed by 2021, and the upgrade will be carried out in two phases.
