Canadian government to grant $19.9M to COWS

This funding will be used to expand the company’s creamery in ‎Charlottetown, Canada.

Canadian dairy processor COWS Creamery will receive up to CAD 2.6 million ($1.99 million) in funding from the Canadian government, which will help the company enhance its processing capabilities.

Up to CAD 1.8 million ($1.38 million) will be provided by the Canadian government’s Dairy Processing Investment Fund, and the outstanding CAD 800,000 ($613,000) will be provided by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

This funding will be used to expand the company’s creamery in ‎Charlottetown, Canada, expanding the company’s processing capacity and allowing COWS to introduce new cheese and butter products.

According to Chad Heron, vice-president of COWS Inc, this funding announced through the Dairy Processing Investment Fund and ACOA is a tremendous opportunity for COWS to capitalise on recent growth and award wins.
