Singapore – Local fast-food chain Arnold’s Fried Chicken has opened its first outlet in the west.
With the new 100-seat outlet at The Frontier Community Club in Jurong West, the chain now has a total of five branches in Singapore.
It is also Arnold’s Fried Chicken’s second new outlet in less than a year. Last May, the chain opened its fourth branch in Bedok.
“For the past 32 years, we’ve only been in the east and north of Singapore. We’ve had a lot of requests from ’Westies’ to open an outlet in the west, so now we’ve granted their request,” Mr Michael Yeo, one of the directors of Arnold’s Fried Chicken, told The Straits Times.
The other Arnold’s outlets are in at City Plaza in Geylang, Hougang Green Shopping Mall, Yishun 10 Cinema Complex and Block 215, Bedok North Street 1.
Arnold’s began operations in Singapore in 1984, and was the first fast-food restaurant that was certified halal.
