The Natural Flavors product line includes both organic and natural flavor solutions.

Firmenich has entered into an agreement to acquire Natural Flavors, Inc., Newark, N.J., a manufacturer of flavors that are U.S.D.A. certified as organic. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

The Natural Flavors product line includes both organic and natural flavor solutions. The company has one manufacturing plant in Newark.

“Under the Stein family’s vision, Natural Flavors has established itself as a leader in certified organic flavors and a recognized pioneer of the organic movement,” said Patrick Firmenich, chairman of the board.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close by March 2018.
