Coca-Cola has announced James Dinkins as head of the company’s North America business next year, replacing Sandy Douglas, who is retiring.
Atlanta-based Coca-Cola announced that 55-year-old Dinkins is currently oversees the Minute Maid business and he will start as president of Coca-Cola North America on Jan. 1.
Douglas, who is 56, will retire three months later in March. Both men have worked at Coca-Cola for almost 30 years.
Dinkins said, “I am honored and humbled to lead CCNA during a time of great opportunity in our industry.
James Quincey, CEO, Coca-Cola said, “Our North American business has been thriving and is well-positioned for continued success. Sandy Douglas has done a tremendous job of leading CCNA to a strong position. Jim Dinkins is a highly experienced, respected executive who will lead Coca-Cola North America as it continues to evolve and grow.”
