AGRANA Stärke GmbH, a subsidiary of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG, has signed a joint venture agreement with the starch producer INGREDION Germany GmbH to collaboratively enhance starch production in Romania. According to the agreement, which is pending approval from the relevant competition and regulatory authorities, INGREDION Germany GmbH will acquire 49 per cent of the shares in S.C. AGFD Țăndărei s.r.l. from AGRANA Stärke GmbH.

Further details regarding AGRANA’s joint venture with INGREDION in Romania will be announced after the transaction receives approval from the relevant competition and regulatory authorities.
