Eligible companies will be able to defray business costs of going online
Given the tightening of safe management measures from 16 May through 13 June 2021, the Singapore government has re-introduced the Food Delivery Booster Package and will be extending the support from 16 May to 15 July 2021 to support affected F&B businesses. Eligible companies will be able to defray business costs of going online through the following:
Via third-party logistics partners
Businesses that are managing their own deliveries and engaging the following third-party logistics players – Lalamove, Pickupp, Zeek Logistics, GrabExpress, pandago, Chope, DLVRD, MilkRun and YY Circle – will receive support on delivery costs.
Via food delivery platforms
To support F&B businesses with delivery orders, the package will help to reduce business costs of selling on four food delivery platforms – Deliveroo, foodpanda, GrabFood, and Bungkus.
The package will fund 20% of the delivery cost per trip, for orders made between 16 May to 15 July 2021. This excludes delivery orders received through Deliveroo, foodpanda, GrabFood and Bungkus, but fulfilled through the above third-party logistics partners. There is no cap on the qualifying food delivery transaction value
From 16 May to 15 July 2021, F&B businesses who are existing operators on and new entrants to four online food delivery platforms – Deliveroo, foodpanda, GrabFood and Bungkus – will receive a reduction of five percentage points of the commission cost charged by the food delivery platforms under the Food Delivery Booster Package2. There is no cap on the qualifying food delivery transaction value.
