Announces a new distribution agreement with Roquette

Azelis has increased the scope of its distribution agreement with Roquette for their food product range in China. Azelis has a long-standing relationship with Roquette and this new partnership strengthens Azelis’ lateral value chain and expands its significant presence in the food & health market segment across Asia Pacific.

Azelis is positioned to build on its existing worldwide partnership with Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients. In 2020, Azelis was appointed as the preferred distribution partner of Roquette for the plant care market in Asia Pacific.

This agreement enhances Azelis’ lateral value chain by broadening its food & health product offering in the Chinese market with the addition of Roquette’s specialty products, including fibers, plant-derived proteins and both modified and native functional starches.

Azelis’ ability to provide scale, technical expertise, formulation capabilities and market knowledge, were critical factors in Roquette’s decision to enter into this distribution agreement.
