Greatview completes carbon footprint assessment for core products

This significant milestone underscores Greatview’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and green innovation

Greatview, a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, has completed a comprehensive carbon footprint assessment of over ten of its core products in collaboration with Carbonstop, a leading carbon management platform. The assessment has been rigorously certified by Bureau Veritas, a globally recognised authority in testing, inspection, and certification.

This significant milestone underscores Greatview’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and green innovation. The assessment follows a full life cycle evaluation approach from “cradle to grave” analysing carbon emissions at every stage of the product life cycle, including raw materials, manufacturing, distribution, usage, and end-of-life treatment.

The validated data not only strengthens Greatview’s carbon management capabilities but also supports its broader goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050, as outlined in the “Greatview 2023 Sustainable Development Report.”

“This carbon footprint assessment provides a solid scientific foundation for product optimisation and energy efficiency improvements,” the company stated. “It also addresses the growing need among supply chain partners for transparent and actionable climate data.”

By integrating precise carbon tracking and sustainable practices, Greatview continues to lead the packaging industry’s transition toward a low-carbon future. The company remains dedicated to working with stakeholders across the value chain to set new benchmarks in carbon accountability and green development.
