As part of its global expansion strategy and commitment to local service, ULMA Packaging, headquartered in Oñati, Spain, has acquired all shares of PackDesign AB, a Swedish company that specialises in innovative and customised packaging solutions.

This acquisition enhances ULMA Packaging’s presence in Sweden, allowing the company to provide advanced, automated, and comprehensive solutions across various sectors, including fresh food, general food, and non-food industries, such as medical services, which require high standards of quality and efficiency.

Since 2017, PackDesign has been a key partner and distributor of ULMA Packaging in Sweden, cultivating a collaboration based on mutual trust. Now, as a subsidiary of the ULMA Packaging Group, PackDesign will utilise its local expertise to better meet the needs of the Swedish market. This integration enables ULMA to offer even closer and more specialised services while maintaining its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customisation.
