Krones has strengthened its presence in India with the official opening of a new manufacturing facility in Vemagal, near Bengaluru. The new plant is expected to enable the company to work more closely with customers and support its growth in India’s beverage, food and packaging industries.
India has emerged as an increasingly important market for Krones, which already operates several companies and centres of competence in the country. The new production facility adds to this network and represents a further investment in the company’s long-term growth strategy for the Indian market.

Krones' existing India operations include Krones India and Krones Digital Solutions India in Bengaluru, Krones Processing India in Hyderabad and System Logistics India in Mumbai. The Vemagal facility further expands the company's manufacturing and operational footprint in the country.
The company said the new facility will also strengthen its ability to support customers locally as demand for technologies and solutions across the beverage, food and packaging sectors continues to grow.
