UAE-based MAIR Group has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire a 70 per cent stake in Eslab, the owner of Turkish-origin specialty coffee brand Espressolab. The transaction marks MAIR Group's first cross-border acquisition since its listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and supports its strategy to diversify its investment portfolio.
Founded in 2014, Espressolab operates a predominantly franchise-led specialty coffee network. As of August 2026, the brand had more than 400 coffee shops across 21 countries, according to MAIR Group.
Eslab's business model extends beyond coffee-shop operations and includes brand management, franchising, coffee sourcing and roasting, product supply, retail and digital channels. The integrated model is designed to support the brand's international expansion and provide a scalable platform across markets.
MAIR Group is currently undertaking the procedures required to complete the transaction under the SPA. Completion remains subject to customary conditions precedent, including obtaining the necessary approvals from relevant regulatory authorities.
The acquisition expands MAIR Group's exposure to the international food and beverage sector through a specialty coffee business with a presence across multiple markets. For Espressolab, the transaction is expected to provide access to a broader investment platform as it continues to develop its franchise network and related coffee and retail operations.
